The fishing industry of the Pacific Northwest is a foundation of the region's economy, both historically and today. What are the keys to keeping this industry thriving? To investigate answers to this question and learn about the present and future fitness of the fishing industry, we’ve assembled a panel of awesome people whose daily work is focused on seafood. Led and moderated by Dame Amy Grondin, co-owner of Duna Fisheries; the panel includes commercial fisherman Shannon Ford Ward, Jenna Keeton, fisheries specialist with UW's College of the Environment; and Tomi Marsh, commercial fisherman and board member of the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI). Together, they will share their experiences and insights about actively participating in this dynamic seasonal industry.
