Please join Les Dames d'Escoffier Seattle for a very special Global Culinary Initiative dinner created by guest chef, Malaysian food ambassador, culinary instructor and cook book author, Christina Arokiasamy on Wednesday, June 7 at 6:00 PM.

Chef Christina is celebrating the release of her new cookbook, The Malaysian Kitchen, with a 6 course dinner featuring:

Street Food inspired hors d'oeuvres
Penang’s Spiced Barbeque Pork Satay
Vegetarian Curried Puffs filled with Sweet Potato and Petite Peas
Portuguese Debal Prawns tossed in Garlic Butter Sauce
Culinary Origins & History of Malaysia – The Wind-Swept Seas and Wafting Scents

Entrée
Traditional Red Lentil and Chick Pea Soup infused in Coriander & Mint
Mango Salad with Cashews tossed in Lemon Basil Dressing
Wild Cod in Candlenut, Makrut Lime and Coconut Sambal Sauce on Banana Leaves
Rice Pilaf with Star Anise, Ginger Butter and Pine nuts
Wok-fried Asian Greens and Shitake with Malaysian Pantry Sauces

Dessert
*French Vanilla Ice Cream with Chef Christina’s specialized Caramel Sauce and Jackfruit
